The machinery a company runs determines what its results can look like. Well-maintained belt sanders with proper dust extraction cut flat; worn drum machines leave chatter that shows under raking light forever. Finish products vary enormously in abrasion resistance, cure time and how they behave in high humidity, and the cheapest gallon on the shelf is cheap for reasons that surface in year three.
We invest in current equipment and premium sanding and finish products, and we maintain the dust containment system that lets us work in an occupied house without filling it with airborne wood. None of that is the cheapest way to run a flooring company, and all of it is why the work holds up.
Both our products and our workmanship are guaranteed, and it is worth being specific about what that means. Workmanship covers flatness, fastening, layout, finish application and whether the floor performs as it should in service. Product warranties come from the manufacturer and cover defects in the material itself. Neither covers moisture events after the fact, which is why we test rather than assume before work begins.
